Secret of Charity in Islam

Kabarkaya.com. The Importancen of Charity is mentioned many times in the Qur'an, shadaqa is volunter charity in Islam. One such verses is " If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good, but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you and He (Allah) will remove from you some of your misdeeds (thereby). And Allah with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted, "(Sura' Al-Baqarah 2:271). Then those who spend their wealth in Allah's way (shadaqa is volunter charity) they will have reward with their Lord and fear will there be concerning them.Other verses in Qur'an are more stem, and warn of funisment if Muslims don'nt share their wealth: "Allah does not love the ones who are stingy, exhort the people to be stingy, and conceal what Allah has bestowed upon them from His bounties. We have prepared for the disbelievers a shameful retribution.

They give money to charity only to show off, while disbelieving in Allah and the Last Day. If one's companion is the devil, that is the worst companion. Why do they not believe in Allah and the Last Day, and give from Allah's provisions to them? Allah is fully aware of them." (Qur'an 4:36-39) and shadaqa will not  diminish a Muslim's wealth it serves as explation for sins and  yields rewards in the next life Allah says " Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward."( Qur'an 57:18).

Sadaqa should be made with the pure intention of seeking reward from Allah, and it should be given from what one loves and values rather than what one wishes to discard. While discretion is often desirable when making sadaqa, a public act of charity sometimes encourages others to give generously as well. However, Muslims should not boast of charitable acts or belittle the recipients.Giving sadaqa will not diminish a Muslim's wealth. It serves as expiation for sins and yields rewards in the next life. Allah says: The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.[Al-Baqarah 2:261]

And, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "To give something to a poor man brings one reward, while giving the same to a needy relation brings two: one for charity and the other for respecting the family ties." (Ahmad and Tarmidhi) Sadaqa should be made with the pure intention of seeking reward from Allah, and it should be given from what one loves and values rather than what one wishes to discard. While discretion is often desirable when making sadaqa, a public act of charity sometimes encourages others to give generously as well. However, Muslims should not boast of charitable acts or belittle the recipients.

Some charity is considered to be a lasting sadaqa, meaning it continues to benefit others and earn rewards after a donor's death. Writing an Islamic book, building a school or mosque, and planting an orchard to yield food for the poor are examples of lasting sadaqa..Sadaqa, lasting or more immediate, is an act of worship which should become part of a Muslim's daily life. Such charity benefits not only the recipient, but also the one who gives it.
To benefit from the charity yoe give it is important to keep certain things in mind that will lead to good in this world the next. So we need to remember that life in this world is only temporary and very short, therefore, while still alive and given sustenance by God then use your wealth to help fellow human beings. Because a lot of wealth will not help us after death unless the treasure we used previously by many charities and charity. So hopefully there is no benefit to us all.
